1. Oh Melodye! I wish you an abundance of Joy, too! {{{hugs}}}

    2010 will be a fabulous year – full of surprises, twists and turns – and facing each day with Grace, Love, Joy and friends like you – no matter what it holds – it will be awesome!

  2. I love your collage. It makes me smile in about ten different ways 🙂 Thanks for sharing it. Seeing life with love and joy is my wish, too 🙂

    • Thank you! I smiled the whole time I was putting it together, and I consider that a good omen for the upcoming year. 🙂

      Glad we’re sharing the joy…xo

  3. As you walk the pathways this year, may the joy you have in your heart flow out and touch others as you have touched my heart this past year. Keep your eyes open and marvel at the beauty surrounding each and every step.

  4. I wish you joy, too! In 2009 I chose HOPE. And isn’t it funny, that’s all I got. Hope. I guess it’s important to choose our words carefully. I had one picked out for 2010 but it was a very hard word, full of consonants and it just didn’t feel right. But JOY, that is something to strive for, look for, long for. I’ll take a page out of your book and have JOY by my side in 2010!

    • I agree that the words we choose have a powerful influence on us. And I love that you renegotiated your first word of 2010, rather than settling.

      Yes to JOY! And yes to our ever-deepening friendship, with Joy as our traveling companion.

  6. I love this. Joy is a fantastic word for you, especially since you’ve been expressing so much of it over the year! You always bring a smile to my face and you bring me much joy. BTW, I bought a sketch book and I’m going to try creative journaling – any advice?

    • *is humbled*Those are very kind, very joyful thoughts. THANK YOU for sharing them with me!

      I LOVE that you bought a sketch book! Woo hoo, it’s gonna be fun to do this together!

      I think the most important thing about creative journaling is to enJOY the process. Difficult as it might seem at first, I think it helps to remember that it’s meant to be fun…to to try not to focus so much on what the final product might be. It’s a form of creative expression, not fine art, so you’re free to break any boundaries and ignore every rule. You’ve got a lot of craft-related objects in your basement–use them to go wild and go big! 🙂

      That said, if you’d like me to pass along some “experts'” tips/tricks, email me and I’ll attach a few ideas.
