We got about an inch Monday and was gone before sunset. 100 miles south, Midland got over 10 inches. Glad it was them and not us. Have a wonderful snowless winter.
Ahhhh, it feels so gentle and I can almost hear the gulls and smell the brine, and imagine I’m walking along there with you! Thanks for the inspiration. xo
So much fun to splash in the ocean, and to dig your toes in the sand!
Another subject altogether: I appreciated your generous, sage advice about uploading pictures to my blog. It’s a lot for me to absorb right now (I’m still feeling a bit overwhelmed), but I’m looking forward to incorporating the ideas you’ve suggested. I’d like also to start cross-posting my blogs to WordPress, but I need to learn more about that platform first. Not this very moment, however. I am writing. And I’m resting in the now…

Oh, rub it in, why don’tcha!

I’m gratified if you found helpful anything that I said. As for migrating to WordPress from Livejournal, if Jeannine’s experience is anything to go by, it’s not that difficult and seems to work very well. And I’m happy to share anything that I know about the process.
Oh, it’s so beautiful. Wish I was there.
It’s even more beautiful, now that you are here. To my way of thinking, beach walks are meant to be shared.
Where’s the snow?
Far, far away from here. Right where it belongs.
Snow
We don’t have it here either–strange winter!
Re: Snow
A very strange winter, indeed, from north to south and coast to coast!

You, too, PapaDan. Wishing you just enough moisture to nourish the crops, clear the head and clean the air…

Did you see the starfish in the tide pool? They’re showing off for you.
XOXO
How beautiful and inspiring!
I dearly love that we live close to the ocean. Do you have any beaches nearby?
The closest beach we have is Acapulco and is three hours away, so it’s difficult to go often there.
I’m envious.

But it can wait. Enjoy the restful now. — PL
So different from what we’re experiencing today — lovely!
