Melodye Shore September 29, 2011 at 11:24 am Hmmm…so many wonderful flavors (flavours, lol) from which to choose, lavender included, but I’m a die-hard fan of vanilla. (Go figure!)
boreal_owl September 29, 2011 at 2:46 pm Lavendar?! Did you find one called “bacchio” (kiss)? It was lemony, if I remember correctly. But, yeah, vanilla is the best one in any country. 🙂
Melodye Shore September 29, 2011 at 10:00 pm Lavande, to be precise. It’s a lavender flower grown specifically for cooking & food preparation. It’s really yummy! I haven’t tried bacchio, but believe you me, if I’d seen it in the display case, I would definitely have ordered it! The name alone….ooh la la. 🙂
Melodye Shore September 29, 2011 at 11:28 am Gelato’s among the Great Wonders of the World, I kid you not.
Melodye Shore September 29, 2011 at 11:23 am Thanks, Lorraine! We had a wonderful time abroad, but as they say, there’s no place like home. Pictures coming soon… xoxo
Melodye Shore September 29, 2011 at 11:27 am Great to see you, too, Anabel!! I’m smiling at the thought of us, huddled together at a gelato stand, eating gelato while drinking in the local sights and culture.
barbarabaker September 29, 2011 at 7:31 pm Glad you’re back. Sounds like you had a great time. I love Gelato, too. Yummy!
Melodye Shore September 29, 2011 at 9:58 pm Thanks! I had a fantastic two weeks, and am eager to show pictures. That’ll have to wait a little bit longer, I’m afraid, ’cause I seem to have contracted some kind of food- borne illness. Urgh!! An offset for all that gelato, I guess. 🙂
What was your favourite gelato flavour? Welcome home!
