I’m glad to share this bit of history with you, Lovella. It’s an amazing artifact, and I’m so thrilled to have discovered it.
Wow, quite a legacy…I got to see Graham once (during a 10-day revival). Actually, we went numerous times, as it was back in my ‘religious’ days (ha). What I remember most is the heat…almost every evening was around 100*.
His face is still recognizable, even to me with my prosopagnosia (face blindness).
I did not realize that their birthdays were so close. Dads and Billy Grahams. Love to see the old fliers and see the “4500 free seats”.
