Barnes & Noble is featuring DEAR BULLY for this entire month, as part of their partnership alliance with No Name-calling Week, which runs from January 23 – 27.
I'm grateful to the world's largest bookseller for encouraging (and promoting) anti-bullying projects, and I appreciate all the schools, organizations and individuals that plan to participate in this endeavor. And on a more personal level, I'm thankful for yet another forum in which to share our stories…to help spread hope and light. ♥
It is great to see good things happening. And it’s always nice to have things to be grateful for.
You’re so right! Sometimes we have to twist the lens a little, to switch positions and/or adjust the lighting, in order to see the good things for which we can be grateful. That’s my experience, anyway.
I hope this book reaches every kid. It would be very helpful.
I agree, Anabel. Good news is that there is an ever-widening set of resources, designed to support bullying awareness & create a network of support for those who have been personally affected by this issue. The more, the better, I say! The trick lies in linking those in need with these projects, and more so, connecting all of us with our own “better angels.”
