Oh, snap!

You ever have one of those mornings where you tumble onto the floor — splat! — on the wrong side of the bed?

And then you realize that all your clothes are rumpled, ill-fitting, and otherwise unsuitable for public consumption?

And to top it off, your hair’s so disheveled, there’s nothing you can do but throw on a baseball cap and hope no one notices the tangled mess?

Yep, that about sums up my writing efforts for the day.

Anyone got a comb?

  1. Amen~

I have those days with increasing regularity, and I’m starting to think it’s just an occupational hazard. I’ve only met a few writers who actually find time to iron things. (Plus-some of those crinkle-cotton and crinkle-silk fabrics are very hip now; have you noticed?) Whenever I’m wrinkled, I pretend it’s on purpose.

  3. Okay that is the cutest pic ever. That HAD to put a smile on your face, even after a super hard day’s work.

  4. For some reason I can’t picture you wearing a baseball cap. I mean, besides the obvious picture of you right there.

    Keep at it. Write on!

  5. You could never look lame in the morning. I’m enjoying these pics you’re putting up — so sweet. Little glimpses into Melodye’s life. The book will be fascinating.

  6. You wouldn’t want my comb! It doesn’t take out tangles and it manages to be lost most of the time.

Hope your writing went better today.

  7. Well there you go again. Making me fall out of the chair laughing so hard. I LOVE that picture. 2 very sweet looking young ladies out for a morning stroll looking for something to get into. With your writing along with these priceless photo’s, watch out best seller list, here comes Mel!!!!!!!! Keep on plugging away.

  9. That sounds like the kind of day to wander out to the garden and sit there in your jammies. I do hope your day improved and that you have a splat-less Tuesday. (hug)
