Pretty! I don’t have much of a sense of smell but gardenia is one scent that I can usually detect.

wow. how wonderful to have that amazing fragrance and beautiful flower right in your very own yard. Sigh
They’re finicky plants, at least for me, so I feel privileged when they decide to bloom.
