I appreciate that…they’re fun to write; in a tongue-in-cheek sort of way, they tell a bit more about who I am. And by the way, I LOVE that icon! One of my kitties looks almost exactly like that…the maine coon mix I told you about before.
Thanks, Cathy. When I bought them, I actually thought of you, seeing as how you live in flip-flops and all. You should totally buy yourself a pair — no, one in every color! 🙂
Brrr! Snow flurries…what’s the difference between flurries and blizzards? I guess it doesn’t matter, really: cold is cold, right?
UNDER big wooly socks? Heee! That reminds me of my older son, who wears woolen socks with Birkenstocks (shudders). I guess fashion flies out the window when a cold wind rushes in.
I live in my Ugg slippers indoors, but these beauties are for taking out on the streets. And yes, I too remember when thongs referred to slip-ons and not underwear.
Congratulations on finishing your column. I can’t wait to hear more about it…to read it, actually and more to the point. 🙂
Isn’t it funny that anything below 70 degress is cold for us?
LOL… yes it is. I have to speak to people all over the country for work and they mock me when I tell them it’s FREEZING out here when it’s like 50 degrees. We’re so soft in this state. LOL….
BWAH!!! I love them! My feet would STILL be cold, but they’re too cute!
The sheepskin really does make your feet warm — under the straps and on the soles of your shoes. And besides, they make me laugh. 🙂

**snicker** Fuzzy flip flops – wow.
You dare to snicker at my fashion sensibilities?!?
=:) Heh!
Oh no no, not your fashion sensibilities, your temperature sensibilities. These, to me, do not belong in a “winter wardrobe.” 😉
I’m looking at the snow outside my window and feeling cold just thinking about baring my feet. **shiver**
I’m sorry you’re so cold. Really, you need to get a pair to help you dream of spring. 🙂

very cute and cozy!
Thanks. They feel like I’m wearing bedroom slippers. 🙂
Scrumptious!
Thanks! They’re a lot of fun, and very comfortable, too. 🙂
I LOVE these shoes ~ Who makes them?
Lamo makes them. I bought them locally, but you can get them online:

43 and counting
Say, do you realize that as of right now, your little flip flop has brought in 43 comments??
And who says writers aren’t deep and profound???!!! 🙂
Re: 43 and counting
Well, at the very least, we’ve got a lot of sole…er, I mean soul. heh.

Those are cute! Wish I could wear them here!
Re: cute!
Thanks, Kim! They are comfy-cozy and happy-making. 🙂 I wish you could wear a pair, too. Maybe lay in a pair for spring?

They’re very comfortable and warm! And yes, I bought a pair on Sunday.
I’ll call you in a few minutes…or pick up your cell and dial me. Either way, let’s chat!
Only in Southern California! I saw some of these a few weeks ago and laughed. But I bet they are comfortable.
They’re cushy and warm, just right for our SoCal weather!

*covets*
It’s 20 degrees here. I got frostbitten when I walked around the corner for some Chinese food.
Brrrrrr, now that’s COLD! I’m sorry for your misery. I’m thinking you should buy a pair of these, in preparation for spring.

To
Laugh!!!
Tee hee!
Hope your toesies love them!
They’re fabulously soft and really warm. Truly, you NEED a pair of your own, especially after being in the tropics. 🙂
Ahhh, perfectly divine! I’ll take a pair too. 🙂
Sweet! Order the same color as me, so we can be twinsies! 🙂
Current temperature: 23 degrees
Snow showers expected overnight…
*wondering if I could wear them UNDER big wooly socks…..*

I’ll come back and post how adorable those flip flops are (you know, those things were called THONGS when I was little) after I defrost.
BABY IT IS COLD OUTSIDE
P.S I live in my sheepskin slippers. In the house.
PPS Column in. Me tired. :{

Those are adorable winter shoes! Totally Californian, hehe…Isn’t it funny that anything below 70 degress is cold for us?

Yeah, that “storm” was a doozie, wasn’t it? I thought Long Beach would be flooded out. *rolling eyes* Gotta love “StormWatch” in So Cali. LOL…
Nice shoes… I don’t think I could pull ’em off though. 🙂
Maybe not…though a black pair might be more to your liking, the rhinestones might be a bit over the top.
We are, indeed and unabashedly, weather wimps.
Oh I dunno… I think the rhinestones would be so pretty on me. 😉
They aren’t really my color, you know?
They do carry them in other colors, y’know… 🙂
Ah, yes. Since it just snowed here in the desert recently, perhaps I should look into getting a pair of these beauties!
Heh. Absolutely, they’d be lovely for that climate!
(Where in the desert? The Palm Springs area? or further southeast?)
Do you have to vacuum these show periodically!!!!!!
Lower Alabama
Ha ha ha!
I don’t even know if I *own* a vacuum! LOL

DEF something I would wear 🙂
(((hugs))) Safe trip to snow country and back
Re: LOVE the shoes
You should totally buy a pair of your own; I posted the link to someone else in the comments. They are sooooo comfortable!
Thanks so much for the warm hugs and warm wishes. I had a great trip. I’ll post a little about it later today.
