1. What a lovely dream. It does sound like something wonderful and beautiful is emerging.

That lizard looks like a dinosaur! A sign of ancient wisdom visiting your space.

  2. Great dream! I love creative, encouraging moments, even when they happen while I’m sleeping. 🙂

I’m reading the Life As We Knew It series right now, so I have to say that the lizard image is far less scary than the moon to me right now! Still, I don’t think I’d like to step on him…

    • Thanks so much!

I have to say…though these Nancy Drew adventures sometimes leave me wrung dry, on the whole, they’re exhilarating. And liberating.

  3. That dream is a taste of heaven–what a blessing. And your photo of the moon is otherworldly-we just run across that misty reedy expanse in the foreground at we will be able to touch it.

And your handsome lizard is a king among small dragons.

Here’s a cup of flower tea to help your throat.

    • “That dream is a taste of heaven–what a blessing.”

Exactly so, and I’m so grateful.

Thanks (belatedly) for the lovely flower tea. It helped. 🙂

  4. I love the feeling that those special dreams leave us with–something deep and visceral that is felt more than understood with the brain. And you have accomplished so much in your journey with your story, Melodye–much more even than the physical words convey, I’m sure.

    xo

    • It’s been an incredible journey, Lorraine. I don’t know that I’d want to repeat much of it, but I’m grateful for the experiences and what I’ve learned from them.

      xo

  5. I love the way those sort of dreams leave us with such a deep and visceral wisdom.

And you’ve accomplished so much with your story in so many ways–I imagine much more even than the words that appear on the page. 🙂

    Happy weekend, Melodye!

  6. Love your posts! Hope your throat feels better!

I love lizards! I even tried to get one off one of those sticky pads. Cried the whole time but I did get him off.

    • Gah, where are my manners??? I forgot to come back and respond to these comments. Sorry sorry sorry!

P.S. Love that you were that lizard’s hero! 🙂

  7. Hugs, hope your throat feels better soon.

Native American culture has always regarded dreams with great respect. Some tribes believe your soul is walking when you are asleep. The Iroquois felt that dreams were concealed instructions from your soul.

  8. What a gorgeous dream. I felt myself swaying along with you as you sang in the choir, listening to you hit each and every note.

Hooray for you and your renewed sense of direction and accomplishment. Good things are on the way, and you will be ready.

    Have a wonderful weekend, Melodye.

  9. Gah! I forgot about responding to comments here, and for my bad manners, I’m very sorry.

But I have to say that I’ve enjoyed revisiting that dream.
