The Backspace Writers Conference organizers generously provided these 2009 session excerpts (The Agent-Author Relationship; What Literary Agents Want; and Yes, No, Maybe…When an Agent Asks For Revisions). I enjoyed listening to the panelists anew, and I hope you find them as insightful and encouraging as I have.

Thanks Melodye!

🙂
It’s like a mini-conference for those of us who didn’t go to SCBWI this past weekend.

Thanks for posting these, Melodye. I’m looking forward to listening to them.

Yeah, I don’t imagine anyone’s going to watch them at one sitting, but it’s nice to know they’re available for when we need information/inspiration.
Here’s to your finding lots of hidden treasures in Chapter 12!

Interesting. Thanks, Melodye.

I sure wish we could watch them together and talk about ’em afterward! I’ll be curious to know if anything strikes your fancy/gives you pause.

Thanks for posting these, Melodye! I’ve added them to my YouTube playlists
Melodye Shore
You have a YouTube playlist?!? Very cool idea. Wondering…is that a feature of YouTube, or something you created on your own?
saputnam
It’s a feature of YouTube – You can set it up to have as many playlists as you want.. I have 35 palylists, everything from the Golden Oldies to writing. You also have the option of keeping them private(like mine are) or going public with them.
Melodye Shore
Wow, thanks for the tip! Sounds like a much better way of keeping tabs on my favorite videos.

Thank you very much for posting these videos. Very helpful-I’m going to watch them again.

Hello, new friend! Glad you enjoyed the videos. Are you new to LJ, and if so, welcome!
kdrausin
Thank you. I’m not too new to LJ-(10 months)
My husband is from Newport Beach. We’ve been in Florida for over fifteen years.

I’m glad we connected, however that came to be. It’s nice to meet someone from the other “sunshine state.” 🙂

Lovely of them, and you, to share with us. Thank you.
