    • I would have loved for you to be there, too! And whoa, I had no idea you and D. were going to be in H.B. last night; otherwise, I would have tried to meet up with you….

(I posted pictures above, in case you’re interested in seeing the place…you should visit sometime; it’s lovely!)

    • The aspen are gorgeous in a different way than the redwoods, but it’s wonderful to spend time relaxing in nature, isn’t it? (I have pictures above, in case you want to see the place through my eyes…)

    • Oh, it was so beautiful! Much more like the Pacific Northwest than the dry, beachy area where I live. (I snapped some photos and posted them today, in case you want to see the place…)

    • Lorraine, I thought of you and Tracy often while I was there. It’d be a great place for the Blue Raincoats to meet up, I’m thinking! (I posted pictures today, if you want to see them…)

  1. I’m so happy that you get to go work on your spiritual self, Miss Melodye! What a beautiful setting! I hope you enjoy your time away and we’ll see you when you return!

  2. Wow, that sounds realy amazing. I did yoga prenatally but then for some reason never keep up with it after the baby is born. I need to start up again. I hope you have an enlightened and relaxing time!

    • I encourage you to try again. You’ll experience it differently now that you’re not pregnant, but probably in new and important ways. If ever I get away from yoga for too long, I really feel the difference, body mind and spirit. Sometimes I don’t realize the full impact until I return to class again…and it’s in the practice that I realize how important it is to come back to the breath, come back to center…

(I posted photos today, if you want to see the Land of Medicine Buddha.)

    • Thank you, Susan, for sending out these powerful good wishes. It was all I could have asked for–and much, much more. I posted photos today, if you’d like to see the beautiful place I visited.
