Wow, great turnout at Vroman's bookstore last night–it was standing room only! Thanks to everyone who came out to see us…we really appreciated your support for DEAR BULLY.
That's not to say that I didn't miss the friends who couldn't make it. You should know, however, that I carried you with me in my pocket…a constant, comforting reminder that I AM NOT ALONE.
More about this later…including Southern fried chicken and waffles. And yes, there will be pictures. 🙂

Why yes, I do believe I have. And within that tribal affiliation, I’ve discovered a wealth of kindred spirits, you included.
We had a good discussion today about anti-bullying in our school…I also love these reminders that I am not alone (that none of us are)!
I’m so happy to learn that your schools are granting students time and space in which to discuss this very important issue! It’s how we learn to problem-solve, isn’t it, and to (re)learn that important lesson: WE ARE NOT ALONE. 🙂

Wonderful! I am thrilled for you, Melodye! I remember your posts a few years back on the subject. I’m looking forward to getting a copy and reading your story first. I have four neices and nephews that just enetered HS…along with my daughter. A tough and tender age. I’ll be getting all of them this book for Christmas.
